Background
The Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.) is an organisation founded and sponsored by Harley-Davidson Motor Company.
It is the world´s largest motorcycle club boasting presently more than 900,000 members world-wide in 119 countries, including 90,000 European members.
The group was established to offer motorcycling benefits and services to Harley-Davidson enthusiasts throughout the world, and to develop a close relationship between the Harley-Davidson rider, the Harley-Davidson dealer and Motor Company.
The goal of each chapter is to generate an increased level of enthusiasm for riding Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
The Chapter is a family-orientated and a non-political organisation.
Cape Town Chapter
Situated at the southern-most tip of the African continent, flanked by two oceans - the Indian and Atlantic - the region boasts almost one thousand kilometers of unspoiled beaches, numerous rivers, estuaries and moderate climatic conditions conducive to riding Harley-Davidsons in the various regions of the Western Cape all year-round. The spectacular scenic beauty creates an awesome backdrop to any ride in the Western Cape.
If you are a HOG member from another chapter, you are welcome to join us on any ride.

The monthly breakfast ride usually on the second Sunday of the month leaves from the Dealership or as informed by SMS. An SMS will be sent out to all paid up Chapter members to inform of rides, departure time and destinations. Ensure you are on the SMS mailing list; chat to our Webmaster if you are not receiving the SMS notices.
Other RIDES
Refer to the website for information on other impromptu rides and breakfast runs taking place as well as week ends away to various destinations. We also cater for all new Harley owners and offer a slower ride where we provide safety and riding tips as we ease new members into pack riding.
